...for not laughing at my ridiculously bad French accent to my character's face... loudly...

    the French accent wasn't bad.
The Quebecois accent on the other hand...

    my point exactly hehehe
Please note, I'm not poking fun so much at your accent, as I am at the Quebecois.
Reminds me of a certain player who ran with our posse in Warren/Tim's Deadlands game a number of moons past. Always good for a laugh, but man, it was hard to stay in character sometimes

Especially when his introduction to the group was dragging his saddle into town while crying!

I found the accent hard to understand...but I'm hard of hearing in crowds, so don't worry too much. ;-)
Background of my Deadlands French guy: The mum of the guy who played that character *is* French Canadian, so the accent was perfect.
He told me he wanted to play a French Mountie...but my campaign at that point was in Utah. He arrived in town one day, dragging a saddle, face sunburnt and pink under a dusty pillhat, crying and mumbling en Francais about his horse dying. No one could ever figure out what he was doing so far south...or why he took random notes in his little note book. Fun times.

    NOW

    Back to Kingdom Come. :-)
